Configuring your email client: Outlook XP/2002 and 2003

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click the 'Tools' menu, and select 'E-mail Accounts...'


  3. Select 'View or change existing e-mail accounts' and click 'Next.'


  4. Click once on the mail account and click on Change.


  5. Click 'More Settings...,' and then click the 'Outgoing Server' tab.

    You should use the corresponding POP and SMTP mail server name according to your email address, (i.e.- mail.frontier.net, mail.durango.net, mail.animas.net etc., depending on your actual email address)

  6. Check the box next to 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication,' and select 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server.'



  7. Click 'OK.'
  8. Click 'Next,' and then click 'Finish.'
