Our commitment to the community is twofold: (1) help non-profit organizations use the Internet as a tool for civic engagement by creating a web presence that informs and engages the viewer (2) donate money directly to non-profits to aid in the achievement of their mission (unrestricted funds).

Community Give-Back Program

Support a participating non-profit organization by signing-up for the community give-back plan. For $19.95 you will benefit from our standard dial-up features, and we will donate 20% of your service price to the participating organization.

Brainstorm Internet is proud to have helped the following organizations create or expand their web presence.

The Durango Arts Center advances the visual and cultural arts for the enrichment of the individual, the community of Durango and southwest Colorado.

The Durango Film Festival is a juried 10-day festival that presents independent narrative feature films, documentaries, animated films, shorts, experimental, and new media works. In addition, the festival offers educational salons, VIP panels, and filmmaker discussions on filmmaking and film as an art form, and host a variety of parties and receptions.

The Adaptive Sports Association helps to enrich and transform the lives of people with disabilities through sports. By working with students to overcome physical and cognitive challenges in a supportive environment, ASA helps students to give disability a possibility.

Durango Nature Studies is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to increasing awareness of, knowledge of and respect for the natural world by providing diverse and hands-on learning experiences for all ages. They have been bringing outdoor nature education to the four corners since 1994.

Operation Healthy Communities mobilizes people and resources to improve the social, economic and environmental health of Southwest Colorado through implementing collaborative, community-based approaches to solution finding.

Durango Motorless Transit is the region's largest running club. Its members live throughout the Four Corners (Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah). DMT is a non-profit group, affiliated with the All Anerican Runners Clubs(AARC), organized to promote running (for all ages and abilities), conduct races, group running activities (training sessions, speedwork, etc.) and the health of the community through exercise.

The Mountain Studies Institute (MSI) is a non-profit mountain research and education center established in 2002 in Silverton, Colorado. MSI’s mission is to enhance understanding and sustainable use of the San Juan Mountains by facilitating field research, academic studies, and experiential learning opportunities.

The Durango Foundation for Educational Excellence was established as an additional means by which our community can interact with and support public education in School District 9-R. The primary function of the Foundation is to facilitate application of community resources to educational opportunities.
