This is a step-by-step walkthrough for configuring your computer to use your Brainstorm email account with the Messaging program which comes with Windows Mobile based Smartphones. If you have any problems call us at 247-1442 in Durango or 326-1010 in Farmington . We are open Monday thru Friday from 8am-10pm and Saturday thru Sunday from 9am-6pm .

Messaging Settings:

•  Open your Applications and tap on the Messaging icon. Then select Setup E-mail.

•  Enter you email address and password, and check Save password. Tap Next.
•  Uncheck Try to get e-mail settings automatically, and tap Next.
•  Select Internet e-mail as Your e-mail provider and tap Next.

•  On the next screen enter your name and tap Next. For Incoming mail server type mail.gobrainstorm.net if your email address has the domain gobrainstorm.net, otherwise, enter the appropriate domain (ex: animas.net, sanjuanlive.net, durangolive.net, bsiweb.net, etc.) and tap Next. For User name fill in your email address. Your password is already saved so tap Next.

•  On the next screen for Outgoing mail server type mail.gobrainstorm.net if your email address has the domain gobrainstorm.net, otherwise, enter the appropriate domain (ex: animas.net, sanjuanlive.net, durangolive.net, bsiweb.net, etc.) and tap Next.

•  Check the box Outgoing server requires authentication (also leaving the box checked for Use the same name and password for sending e-mail) and tap Next, then tap Finish.

Note: If you see a message that "the server certificate is not valid," tap Continue.
