What is T1 Service?

  • A T1 line can carry 24 digitized voice channels, or it can carry data at a rate of 1.544 megabits per second, both upstream and downstream.
  • The T1 technology is not distance sensitive and can be delivered to locations far beyond conventional DSL range.
  • Speed is a guaranteed delivery of 1.5 Megabits both upstream and downstream. T1 service is carried over dedicated private wire pairs which are not shared with other internet users.
  • All T1 lines come with our Gold Level Support, which provides 24 hour availability and immediate response time.

 

Setup Time:  Installation time is highly dependent on the facilities at the service location. Standard lead time is three to five weeks however most are delivered within three weeks from order date.

Availability:  T1 Service is available out of the Durango, Bayfield, Cortez, and Grand Junction wire centers in Colorado and the Farmington wire center in New Mexico. For service outside of these areas in the states of Colorado and New Mexico please contact us for a custom quote.

Contract Terms:  Brainstorm Internet does not believe in requiring contracts to do business, we want your business by earning it rather than coercing it. We offer most services without contract requirements, however in some instances we can offer you better pricing if we agree to a contract arrangement with our wholesale providers. Our representative will offer you all options available and will advise you of any contractual options and details if applicable.
