Phishing email targeting Brainstorm customers
There is a new phishing email being sent to numerous Brainstorm Internet customers today, the subject line says "A new settings file for the [your email address] mailbox". This email is not from Brainstorm Internet and should be discarded.
Phishing emails are common in today's Internet experience. They are sent with the intention to trick you into thinking they are legitimate and to get you to unknowingly reveal sensitive information such as an account login, credit card number, etc. Brainstorm Internet will never ask you to provide any kind of sensitive information via email. Any email you receive requesting you to respond by logging into a webpage or verifying any type of information should be treated as a security threat and be deleted immediately.
