I am using Outlook Express. I can’t send email, but can receive it.

Problem: Can receive but can't send mail with Outlook Express

Reason: If you are getting the error "Your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients" or "relay access denied," this means there has been a timing issue involving your email authentication.

Solution:

1. Open Outlook Express
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Accounts
4 . Click on the Mail tab up on the top
5. Click on your mail account to highlight it
6. Click on the Servers tab up on the top
7. Check that "Account name" is the full email address
8. On the bottom check the checkbox that says 'My Server Requires Authentication'
9. Click OK and Close

If you're having the same problem in other email programs (you can receive but not send) click here for more information.
